Sewing is not just a craft, its therapy!

Sew Social is a social sewing group located at The Kiln, in Burgess Hill. There is no dedicated teacher, but everybody has something to offer, no matter what our level of skill is, we all learn from each other, everybody is welcome.

We do all types of fabric work with any type of sewing! Hand Sewing, Machine Sewing, Dressmaking, Cross-stitch, Embroidery, Quilting, Craft Sewing and moreYou can bring along a project you are working on, or one that you would like to start. Or come and find inspiration whilst being in the company of like minded people. You can also participate in community projects or start one yourself. Tuesdays at The Kiln bring much laughter.

We have a couple of sewing machines for people to use, which have been donated to us, but most people prefer to bring their own equipment.

With a growing collection of bits and bobs from donations from members and the community, from buttons & cottons, to rolls of fabric, which we are very grateful for.
